Search Optics Names Andrew Lovasz Vice President, Digital Media
FERNDALE, MI – September 13, 2012 — Andrew Lovasz has been named vice president, digital services for Search Optics, a leading national automotive interactive marketing agency. Troy Smith, Search Optics president, made the announcement today.
In his new role, Lovasz is responsible for directing all digital media efforts and leading the marketing services team. He also will manage Search Optics’ manufacturer-based dealer group client relationships, developing strategic direction and work with account directors and the marketing services team to ensure needs are met on various digital platforms.
“Andrew is a perfect fit our company,” said Smith. “We were looking for a creative, yet business-minded leader with digital marketing expertise, strategic problem solving ability and relationship management. Andrew is all of these and more. His strong work ethic and proven talent are great assets to Search Optics and our 1000-plus customers across the country.”
Lovasz brings more than 12 years of digital strategy and execution expertise to his new position. Prior to joining Search Optics, Lovasz served in a number of leadership roles with high-profile companies, including interactive marketing manager at Quicken Loans; vice president, search marketing at Moxie Interactive; and, most recently, executive director, search marketing at Organic where he worked with some of the world’s leading brands, such as Smuckers, Walmart, Hilton Worldwide and Procter & Gamble.
Lovasz speaks regularly at industry conferences and events on automotive and consumer search and social marketing and will present at the 13th Digital Dealer Conference and Exposition in Las Vegas this October. He received the Best Search Campaign and Best in Show awards from Atlanta Interactive Media Association for his work on the 20th Century Fox “Choke” movie campaign. He also won Nestle’s Dare to Experiment award for most innovative campaign promoting Hot Pockets. Lovasz earned his bachelor’s degree in general studies from the University of Michigan. He is based in Search Optics’ Ferndale office.
