The Quality Assurance Associate's primary responsibilities are to test and review code related updates to Tier III dealer websites. Testing includes Functional, Design and Grammatical reviews. The candidate will have exceptional troubleshooting and written communication skills. Candidate must also be detail orientated and have the ability to multitask in a fast paced working environment in order to meet deadlines and website launch dates.
Duties include, but may not be limited to:
-Working closely with the development and design teams
-A moderate to high understanding of html
-Troubleshooting and testing problems and offering solutions when appropriate
-QA Websites ensuring website deliverables have been met
-Troubleshoot and test issues presented by the development team
-Cross check issues with related components to ensure that that they were not affected
-Attempt to resolve issues yourself when possible before escalating the issue to development
-Document areas and processes which may need improvement
The successful candidate will:
-Have technical background (can speak programming language- understand, or be able to learn the basics of code and how the moving parts all come together)
-Bachelor’s degree or working toward completion, with graduation date within 6 months
-Be a problem solver
-Have a positive “can do” attitude
-Strong organization and problem solving skills
-Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Be able to multitask efficiently and effectively
-Be a quick learner who can understand a broad range of topics
-Pay close attention to detail and follow direction of QA requirements
-Work well under pressure and lots of tight deadlines
