Reporting to the CEO, the Chief Marketing Officer will develop, implement and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies. The Chief Marketing Officer is responsible for developing sustainable processes to enable market penetration in our target market segments. This includes initiatives in market and competitive analysis, lead generation, and quantification of our value proposition and future product development opportunities.
Design public relations campaign and strategies inclusive of messaging and promotional tactics for the company as well as managing media campaigns.
Develop and execute a marketing plan that supports lead generation targets for specific market segments and geographies.
Collaborate with the senior management team to determine long term product development and national marketing strategy for current and future products.
Leads product management efforts to specify, develop and launch new products and services and manages
the life cycle of existing products.
Work closely with the executive team providing input into the strategic business plan and define market/target customer strategies, the appropriate solution(s) required to be a leader in the market place, then partners to deliver those solutions.
Defines, quantifies and prioritizes market segments
Conduct quantitative analysis on pricing models, price elasticity, market saturation, and our value
to customers
Interface closely with sales and operations to help prioritize new product features and offerings and
refine marketing strategy.
Builds market research and analytical capabilities within the organization.
Assures market and competitive intelligence is gathered and analyzed to identify and capitalize on
market opportunities.
Evaluates market reaction and performance of implemented programs and ensures the timely adjustment of strategies to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
The requirements below are the minimum requirements an employee needs to fulfill this position. They are representative of the knowledge, skills and ability required for the position.
A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business, MBA preferred.
Minimum 10-15 years experience in marketing activities within the auto, digital media or advertising industries, but must be B2B.
Understanding of digital and traditional marketing and the relationship between them.
Experience in marketing services as opposed to packaged products.
Strong analytical and project management skills, hands-on approach to drive projects to completion
and meticulous attention to detail.
Proven creative ability in developing and executing marketing plans and programs that have achieved
growth and expansion of a company’s products and services.
Experience in strategic planning/consulting background.
Strong presentation skills.
Strong interpersonal and customer relationship skills.
Ideal candidate would have "leading edge" technology marketing experience.
