Search Optics is a rapidly growing internet marketing company and we are seeking an account executive to be based in our Ferndale, MI location. The account executive's primary responsibility is to act as a liaison between our outside sales representative, their Tier II clients, and our operations team which consists of web designers, developers, and Quality Assurance, SEO and SEM specialists.  The candidate must have a thorough understanding of all facets of what it takes to not only  successfully launch a Web site (including but not limited to: design, development, SEO and SEM, and Social Media) but be able to understand and interpret customer requirements, relay them to the appropriate member of the operations team and provide on-going customer support as needed. 

Position duties

-Create projects in Quickbase and task out to various departments
-Coordination with inventory feed providers and development team
-Participate in design call gathering requirements for a successful on time launch
-Create sitemap instructions via excel and communicate daily with development team
-QA Websites ensuring website deliverables have been met
-Troubleshoot and test issues presented by client post-launch
-Follow-Up Monthly with Agencies and Regional
-Directors to ensure timely delivery of manufacturer specials to respective sites
-Assist client services team with global support issues as assigned by manager of client services

Position requirements

-Automotive experience strongly desired
-Have technical background (can speak programming language- understand, or be able to learn the basics of code and how the moving parts all come together)
-Have Advertising Agency experience
-Be a problem solver
-Have the ability to communicate well with both sales staff as well as technical staff, and decipher the messages they are sending
-Have a positive “can do” attitude
-Be well organized
-Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Be able to multitask efficiently and effectively
-Be a quick learner who can understand a broad range of topics
-Attention To Detail
-Self-Starter
-Work well under pressure and lots of tight deadlines

Must have a Bachelor’s degree, 2 years’experience in project management, experience in an advertising agency in a similar role, comfortable in a Web or software development atmosphere, a customer service background, be able to work in a team setting on several projects simultaneously, be detail oriented and have top-notch follow-up abilities. Must be skilled in MS Office and be able to grasp and quickly learn internal systems.
