The Senior LAMP Developer will report to the Manager of Software Development and work in coordination with cross-functional teams to design and develop the next generation Search Optics platform. We are looking for an ambitious, hard-working, rock star developer with high coding and design standards.

Duties

  • Work closely with Product Management team to translate requirements into technical designs
  • Lead team of developers through design and development
  • Perform code reviews and enforce coding standards
  • Take lead on critical coding efforts
  • Contribute to architectural decisions
  • Mentor other development team members

Requirements

  • 7+ years designing and developing LAMP web applications
  • 3+ years experience with PHP5
  • 5+ years experience with MySQL
  • 1+ Experience with PHP frameworks like Doctrine and Synfony
  • Experience with MySQL replication and MemCache a huge plus
  • Advanced working knowledge of object-oriented development
  • Comprehensive knowledge of high-volume LAMP architecture
  • Proficient with PHP, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX
  • Experience with SVN, Mantis, Rally or other source control, bug tracking, and project management tools
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration process and Agile development
  • Knowledge of SEO and web analytics a plus
